1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you create an account with SchedulSmart, we collect your name and email address to establish and manage your user profile.
• Social Media Data (Facebook & Instagram): When you connect your Facebook or Instagram accounts to SchedulSmart, we collect only the data you explicitly authorize us to access through the following permissions:
  • instagram_basic: Access the basic profile information (ID, username, and profile picture) of your connected Instagram Business Account to display and confirm the correct account within SchedulSmart.
  • instagram_content_publish: Allow you to create, schedule, and publish photo and video posts to your Instagram Business Account, only as requested by you.
  • pages_show_list: Retrieve the list of Facebook Pages you manage, so you can select which Page to connect and post to within SchedulSmart.
  • pages_manage_posts: Enable creation and publishing of posts to your selected Facebook Pages directly from SchedulSmart.
  • pages_read_engagement: Retrieve the content of posts you have published through SchedulSmart to confirm successful publishing. Engagement data (like, comment, share counts) is not accessed or displayed.
  • business_management: Access only the names and IDs of Facebook Pages you manage via your Meta Business Account to ensure you can select and post to your business-managed Pages. Other business assets (such as ad accounts or catalogs) are not accessed or managed.

  These permissions are used solely to enable you to schedule and manage your social media posts from SchedulSmart. We never access or process data beyond what is necessary for these functionalities.

• Usage Data: We collect technical information about your use of our app (device, IP address, browser, usage patterns) to improve your experience and app performance.
• Communications: We store your support requests and other communications to help us provide better customer service and continuously refine SchedulSmart.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our services and your account.
• To enable and manage social media posting and scheduling as authorized by you.
• To improve SchedulSmart based on user analytics and feedback.
• To provide updates, notifications, and support as needed.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

• We do not sell your personal data.
• Social Media Integration: We only share necessary data with Facebook and Instagram to facilitate posting, analytics, and account management, as authorized by you.
• Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors for hosting, analytics, and infrastructure who are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Compliance: In rare cases, we may disclose information if legally required (such as in response to a subpoena or court order).

4. Your Choices and Rights

• Access & Update: You can view and update your account info any time in the app.
• Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing [email protected] or by using the account deletion feature in-app. Data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
• Unlink Social Accounts: You may unlink your Facebook or Instagram accounts at any time, revoking SchedulSmart's access.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure storage, to keep your data safe.

6. Third-Party Links

Our app may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. Please review their policies.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. The effective date is always noted at the top.
